Behind the green shrubs and lawn sits the Victorian House and Museum. Its 28 rooms feature various themes: there are turn-of-the-century law and medical offices, a child's room filled with antique toys, a room complete with Civil War artifacts, a sewing room containing Victorian dresses, and another room displaying a wide array of early musical instruments.

With windows on every side and level, the blue Victorian House and Museum boasts 28 rooms of Victorian splendor. Built by the Brightmans for their large family of eight children, the 28-room mansion has been restored in its original entirety and features antiques in each of its rooms.

One appealing aspect of an agricultural area is the presence of barns of all types. Amish Country Byway is developing a 'drive-it-yourself' barn tour to afford our visitors opportunity to view the different styles of architecture, influenced by the various ethnic groups who settled here.

Nail barrels, rope, and other old-fashioned supplies line the walls of the Whitmer's Country Store. Truly an old neighborhood store, at the Country Store you can buy groceries, hardware supplies, pet food, bird feed, greeting cards, and more. There's even a little deli and a pizza shop in the back.
