Scenic Highway of Legends

This dike is radial to the West Spanish Peak and extents over 14 miles long (above and below
the surface) is 100 feet high and varies from 20-30 feet wide. It runs nearly exactly due North.

The Purgatoire River runs through Stonewall gap, an unusual narrow opening in an uplifted line of sandstone on the Scenic Highway of Legends about 31 miles west of Trinidad.
