Marshall, Timothy CDirector, Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division
Timothy (Tim) Marshall has served as the Iowa Division Administrator (DA) for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) since September 2019. He is responsible for administering the stewardship and oversight of the Federal-aid highway program in the State of Iowa. He leads a talented team of transportation professionals to assist the Iowa Department of Transportation and other transportation stakeholders with the delivery of the state's approximate $545+ million annual Federal-aid highway program.
Prior to serving in his current position, Tim held many different positions within FHWA including Assistant Division Administrator in the Wisconsin Division, Engineering and Operations Manager in the Michigan Division, and multiple positions with FHWA's Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD) in Construction and Project Management. Tim began his career with FHWA in 2003 as a Bridge Engineer in the Professional Development Program (PDP).
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado. |
