Christian, Jamie Florida Division Administrator Mr. Jamie Christian was appointed as the FHWA Division Administrator for Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2013 and provides executive leadership over a $2.6 Billion Federal-aid program. Mr. Christian leads a multi-disciplinary professional staff in several locations throughout Florida and Puerto Rico where he works with state and local partners and stakeholders providing transportation solutions and strives to maximize the effective use of the Federal-aid dollars. Mr. Christian has held numerous leadership positions across the country and prior to coming to Florida, he served as the FHWA Division Administrator in Utah. Mr. Christian has 32 years of experience in the transportation industry working throughout the United States. Mr. Christian holds a B.S. degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Illinois.
