Lock and Dam #6 is operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers and is located on the Mississippi River and GRR in Trempealeau. It is a great place to fish plus you can tour the facility to see how it works in controlling the water level of the Mighty Mississippi River. It is vital to barge traffic and commerce on this national waterway.
