That the Palisades Scenic Byway connects people to nature is quite evident from the peak of Bear Mountain. From here, one sees the sweep of the Hudson River, the historic Bear Mountain Bridge, and rolling, undeveloped mountains for miles. The Palisades Scenic Byway was built to make these places accessible.
