This route takes you through Kentucky s Bluegrass region. It follows what was first a buffalo trace, and then a 1800s Shaker road. The road follows rolling hills, and scenic pastures highlighted by miles and miles of black and white planked fences, horse barns that look like mansions, and tobacco fields. Another notable feature of the area is the limestone rock fences built by Irish stone masons in the mid 1800s.
